We incorporate the NFO IQ scanner so that upon scanning QR Codes, users are alerted in real time when encountering risky websites. It's important that your website gets NFOSAFE verified. By doing so, you help your customers, donors, or members better engage with your website while helping to single out those websites that are risky or fraudulent. This process makes QR code safer.
When an entity is NFOSAFE verified, upon users scanning a QR code encoded with the entity website, a green color shield will display on the NFO IQ scanner. The green color shield signifies that the website has been scored at the lowest risk level based on NFOSAFE Verification's risk scores. If a website is not NFOSAFE verified, when a QR code encoded with the unverified website is scanned with the NFO IQ scanner, a red shield will display signifying that the website has been scored at the highest risk level.
If an entity cannot be NFOSAFE verified based on the information provided by the entity, there are additional steps the entity can take to improve their risk score. The entity could possibly become NFOSAFE verified by demonstrating strong customers, donors, or members' trust.

The entity can play an active role in improving its verification score while providing its customers, donors or members with safer online experience.
When users scan a QR code utilizing the NFO IQ scanner, users can easily acknowledge his or her experience with the scanned URL with a simple tap. Our proprietary method provides a solution to augmenting verification scores based on users' demonstrated trust for an entity's website. Periodically, we rescore websites which can result in an increase or decrease in the verification score.

Upon receiving a completed Application with the required payment, our team will begin the business verification process. We utilize a combination of information provided by the Customer, third party sources, and system aggregated data; along with our proprietary scoring methods. It is important that accurate and complete information is provided. Once we have completed the verification process, we will send you an email to let you know the results. The NFOSAFE verification process is completed within two to three business days.
